Wild Syrup and the Wasted Comb Overs are heavily influenced by old soul and blues artists such as Elmore James, Captain Beefheart, Bo Diddley, Creedence Clearwater Revival and many more. The band is a fantastic amalgamation of Brian Hall, Steve Greenwood, Rhythm section from The Get Goes, Dom Strickland from The Clique on keyboard, Al Richardson a harmonica legend, Colin Bradford guitarist and David Bassey on vocals.
