Rising from the ashes of The Bluerays post lockdown, Chris Hargrave vocals/harmonica/guitar, Les Cole drums and Andrew Heart bass/vocals, have come together again as The Latest Flames, and completing the line up on guitar/vocals is John Clare (The Bruvvers, Free Electric Band). With a collective pedigree that has seen the boys (and I use the term loosely) working with the likes of Albert Lee, Rebecca Turner, Cozy Powell, Dr Ika, Big Al, Eel Pie Allstars, Alan Warner (The Foundations) and a host of others, they have between them clocked up countless road miles at home and abroad touring clubs, pubs, bars, honky tonks, festivals and concert halls.
With the emphasis on quality songs and get up and dance rock'n'roll, a Latest Flames gig will bring you songs from the likes of Dave Edmunds, Bob Seger, Chuck Berry, Steve Miller Band, The Stones, The Byrds, Wilson Pickett, Traffic and old favourites by Chris Isaak, The Animals, Joe Cocker and so many more.
The Latest Flames will send you into the night at closing time with a smile on your face and a wiggle in your walk (although after a night in the bar that might not be entirely down to the music). 8pm
On any Bank Holiday Monday the pub will open at midday.
